Working alongside my long-time creative partner Raya Rahman, I collaborated with The Asia Foundation's Let's Read programme on more than 150 children's books across eight languages.
Together, we worked across stories, languages and cultures to help bring books to children in communities around the world.

The Idea
A story can only reach you if you can read it.
The work took us across English, Bengali, Chittagonian, Rohingya, Tetum, Baikenu, Fataluku and Galole, with each language bringing its own creative and practical challenges.
This was much more than making books look good. Raya and I worked together across the publishing process, adapting what we did to different stories, languages, communities and projects.
